O Womaniya….!!!!

Crazy thoughts ain’t new to me…I was just trying to do the impossible…Understanding women…though am a woman myself..and trust you me….our breed is for sure complicated..!!

We women are quite touchy about everything within us, around us, with us and away from us.  We are sensitive to our feelings, walls of our house, cup that got broken by the maid, mosquitoes biting kids playing outside our house, the sun, the moon, their eclipses, our hair, our skin, our recipes, our cleavage, our butt, and most importantly our age. Come to think of it, we were born this way. Not just us but most of the men as well, its just that we detail it and they just are lost amidst the many chaos on their mind. 

I was just browsing through images on social networking sites of couple of friends and have come to certain conclusions. Well I’d like to highlight WOMEN and their PICS aspect about women in this blog…will surely highlight more if I ever understand on aspects like why do we women cry…why are women so conscious about the shape of their butt, why women are thought to be control freaks, Silent treatment of women – Boon in disguise??…etc etc.

Okay so I was talking about Women and their looks…rather their clicks…!! I maybe wrong..but I strongly feel that most women are very conscious and sensitive about how they look than how they feel…!! I am telling you..this is how it is…just while your wife/mother/daughter/sister/she friend is doing something..grab her attention and tell her you want to click a pic of her… after your 3-4 times convincing antics work for her pose…see how she will transform miraculously just for the camera: She will have a twinkle in her eyes filled with umpteen kindness, her smile will almost blind you, the way she will flip her hair will bedazzle you, and last but not the least I think…she will tilt her face around 40 degrees north and 60 degrees right..angles of face are important you see…and she has the exact angle for all images you will click…not 1 degree up or down..!! Now….just try criticizing a pic of hers which she will almost feel like it’s a perfect Monalisa kind of pic and let me alert you to be prepared to almost being insulted yourself or buying a book on 1000 tips - how to make your angry woman smile again. Most women just cant take criticism…they may show the world they are open to improving themselves..but these pretty dearies…just just just can’t take it..!! Come on now…it’s a confession from me too..!! We women just want the world to see what we see in mirror…well we feel we are just aptly perfect.. and the day we feel we look like a deprived starved chicken..we will tell that too and sulk all day.

As I am talking about a woman getting clicked...I am sure most of you will agree she won’t be convinced in just 2 -3 shots of her…you will be expected to click her atleast 70-80 odd times…with some 100-120 different angles…!! Well its her experience through selfies that have taught her what kind of shot will finally make her look the most presentable. You tell her to welcome your friends you have invited home with a smile…she won’t…but while clicking a pic you don’t even have to tell her..she herself will say cheese and smile atleast 8 times for just one click and all these smiles my friends…is for a sake of one priceless beautiful picture of her. She will make you delete all the pics which according to her is just ewwwwww…gosh look at my smile..its lil crooked in this pic…ohhhhh noooooo my grey hair/wrinkles are visible…take a shot from exactly 11 feet away from me.

Now comes the next thing..what will she do with these images of her – The fantastic ones maybewill get stored in her folder on her pendrive named “Eternal Beauty” which has all the images of HERS AND ONLY HERS that she clicked or got clicked throughout the year and show it to her grandchildren as to How spotless a beauty she used to be…or continues to be ;) or for women who are social network savvy..will upload on sites dreaming the many many likes she will get for her pic. The unpleasant pics of her will happily be clicked away to go to trash bin of her system.

Once the pic is posted on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter or whateverrrr…she will wait for the likes…if she gets 10 and more likes within 10 mins…she knows and beams that she is beautiful. (weird na??) If somebody commenst saying Lovely/Beautiful/Gorgeous..she will pretend to blush and gush about she looks…but just incase if she gets only 3-4 likes she will go all aghast and become mum for atleast 2 days…!!!

And did you ever notice…of the many many comments a woman gets on her pic…most of the comments surprisingly are from women—her she friends..!! In my confused state of opinions I think we women spend 44.4%of our lives just complimenting people/kids/animals/houses/looks around us.

Days were better when these social networking sites weren’t there..we would just click maximum 6-8 pics and wait for the images from the studio and just peacefully smile at them and insert in floral covered photo albums and those albums would come out only when relatives were expected who would sip the badaam ka sharbat and comment on the pics. No one would say you are beautiful..they would just make some appreciative noise like Ooooo Waaaawwwww..!! Well, if you ask me..I felt beautiful only when road romeos commented on me with songs while I passed by…goshhhhh…really and I was absolutely okay with this!!

And just one FYI for men reading this blog: Do you think we women dress up for attention from you guys??? Blahhhh…NO!! Pls let me wake you up of this assumption. We dress only and only for other pretties from Venus. I strongly believe women are the only beings capable of noticing the finer nuances of our appearance – the all new plum shade of lipstick, the perfectly tailored pencil skirt that sits so flatteringly on our bum, the brand new clunky watch, the eye shadow shades. We don’t feel content when someone just says “Looking nice Babe”….we feel hurt when someone just says “CUTE” and worst is when someone says “You look better in your pics”….Errrr why cant someone just write a poetry on our beauty…ahem ahem..!! Kidding Kidding..but I for sure wouldn’t mind essays written on me.

I know my blog is talking all about outer appearance and beauty which is important too…but as a person I am a sucker for men who appreciate we women for the person we are – the inner beauty we possess than the sexy hot figure discussions..!!
