And I Am Back....Like It Or Not...!!!

Well I am welcoming myself back to the blogging world . How did I lose track of writing on this beautiful wall and the reason for that had to be something phenomenal.

Right?

Sigh...

How about 'The wordsmith in me was on leave and forgot to get back?"

Arey yaar....Blame it on my Lifestyle…Work..Or Facebook…Or the World! But the fact of the matter is that I haven’t been inspired to write for a really long time. Perhaps like I have not been inspired to do several other things that I like, or shall I say liked doing.

I repent and what have I decided ..I am gonna blog every month once at least … atleast one liners !!!So I hope everything has been fine with all you friends..
Yes , Yes .. here is wishing you a wonderful, happy -happy new year 2012 (belated) and yes here's hoping 2012 sees more posts here, less status updates on Facebook, more news, less drama, more ....whatever!!!

I am caught in a stupid rat race. Of beating the inflation (well even that was satisfactory performance during the recessionary times). Of staying at par with who I think are my peers. Of just being one of those millions, if not billions. The times, they keep changing though. And a series of events lately have made me think quite a bit and re-assess myself. My priorities. My purpose. No clear answers yet.
Certain things do get sidelined and I often become someone resembling a mad scientist – forgetting to wash my dinner plate or leaving my things scattered around the house, not having the time to paint my nails, getting ready for work in ten minutes and picking out clothes quicker than any girl should. Sometimes I forget to eat lunch and often I have to remind myself to get up and walk around or drink water. But most days, I’m a normal, slightly irresponsible girlie who just happens to go home from her job to her books/music or long duration calls with her mad folks every night. Just like all those other working/studying people out there – and oh, there are several.

Ayeeee but why me talks all this crap for the 2012 first post….I only wonder now is the world really going to end this year….??? Neah Neah some dumb head must have come up with such gimmicks to get fame ;)

I wasn’t surprised when few of my folks on Facebook actually ended up posting statuses which read like – 2012 Last year Of Mandom…!! (I am like Mandom???) Lol….!! The other post read…I am not happy about 2012 as we may all die with the world…!! ( I am like aren’t we dying everynite and rising up with new hopes the next morn??) Whateverrrrrrr ya...I for sure know that there are couple of things around me that would sure lead me to death bed….absence of my family around me…..my folks naggings and dramaaaaz…..my Blackberry Phone……My Job…..and yes the toppers in the list also is FACEBOOK…!!!!!! I am not ashamed to admit that I am addicted to it…!!! Do you have a problem with this…?? If yes….pls go take a walk..!!!

Well You know What Gyan I Can Give About Facebook:

Appreciate: There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than hunger, had said Mother Teresa with her experience. After all, appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Its just that our willingness to portray or express is what matters. FB did give me a chance which is continual where I DO appreciate folks around be it for their pic…their thoughts…their copy pastes ;) ….their relationship statuses (which majorly changed every 3 months) ;)

Importance To Thyself, Thy Idea, Thy Thought: We live in a world where advertising, marketing… is very vital. So, post a picture or a video from the YouTube, wait for someone to comment or like it and then rush to comment about it’s awesomeness! Yes, that’s the way to do it!

PDA : Public display of affection is not restricted to malls, parks, restaurants etc but it’s common to see to and fro of lovey dovey comments and some very personal pictures and posts on your wall…!!!

Make People Green-Eyed: You went for a cuppa coffee at CCD, post it on Facebook! Went to drop a friend at Airport, Or a long drive date….update your status. A two day holiday at Goa, post a million pictures with a dozen pics of the same pose, will make people feel that they are missing out a LOT in life and that you have a rocking and a very happening life!

Make Your Mind on the Wall : “Should I wear this or that for that friend’s home party?” And especially if you are a gal with a lil presentability, you will get a hundred responses, ranging from , “Hunie…guess u shud wear AAAA dat’d look awesome on you” and another jealous gy wud just come in and say” Sweets u shud wear something that’s upmarket & not the one suggested above by ur frn that’s a lil tacky...” you get the drift… so a status on Facebook helps you decide truly what’s on your mind!

How to make Mundane = Excitement: Post the likes of “ I hate Mondays or I don’t wanna wake up, or Bored at work, or I wanna eat cheese cake or stuck in traffic etc etc”. Within no time, you will have sympathy, help, suggestions, action plans pouring in!! Voila!!

Facebook = News Right Now : Not in front of TV to watch the Live Cricket match or don’t know what’s happening in the world around?? Log in to Facebook for the latest scores, ball by ball update with personal comments and even suggestions to the players! Or for that matter even what’s happening in Big Boss 5! Honestly, I was educated about the life, history, success, speeches of Steve Jobs only through Facebook!

Life’s Profound Gyan on your fingertips Facebook : Life’s deeper thoughts, positive thoughts, inspiring thoughts, funny thoughts all are there to give that spurt of energy and positivity!! Saw this today, Hard Times Are Like a Washing Machine, They Twist,Turn & Knock Us Around, But In The End we Come Out, Cleaner, Brighter & Better Than Before....!!! ROTFL…literally!!

Stress Free Music: Have heard all possible never heard before kinda songs thru posts that come from friends on their walls or dedications on my wall…..n I just wonder Why This Kolaveri Di…!!! ;)

So, what have you learnt from Facebook!!?? Now to entice that wordsmith back. Any ideas?? ;)
